How Your Agreement with PartnerPortal Works

There are two separate sets of terms in play when you run a partner program on PartnerPortal, and it helps to keep them distinct. One is your agreement with PartnerPortal — the platform you’re using to run your program. The other is your program terms with your own partners — the rules your partners agree to when they join your program. This page explains the first and points you to the second.

The rest of this page is about platform terms — your agreement with PartnerPortal. For the terms your partners accept, see Program Description & Terms.

Your use of PartnerPortal is governed by three documents:

You can open all three at any time from the Legal card on your My Account page (in the user menu at the top right of the portal).

PartnerPortal is built to be simple, low-cost, and easy to use — and our legal terms work the same way. We don’t typically negotiate or sign custom enterprise contracts. Your agreement with PartnerPortal is fully contained in our public Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Data Processing Agreement linked above — the same terms every customer operates under. There’s no separate master agreement to review or sign.

Portal administrators and staff are asked to accept PartnerPortal’s Terms of Service. When acceptance is needed, you’ll see a notice on your dashboard and an Accept button on the Legal card of your Account page. Clicking Accept records your acceptance.

Once you’ve accepted, the Legal card shows the date you accepted, and the dashboard notice goes away.

If PartnerPortal updates its Terms of Service, administrators and staff are asked to review and accept the new version. The dashboard notice and the Accept button reappear until you accept the current version, and the Legal card again records the date once you do.

Where can I see the terms after I’ve accepted them?

Section titled “Where can I see the terms after I’ve accepted them?”

On your Account page, in the Legal card. It always links to the current Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Data Processing Agreement, and shows the date you accepted.

Do my partners have to accept PartnerPortal’s terms?

Section titled “Do my partners have to accept PartnerPortal’s terms?”

No. PartnerPortal’s platform terms are between you and PartnerPortal. Your partners only agree to your program terms, which you set up separately under Partner Program → Program Terms.

Each administrator and staff member accepts for their own account. If you add a new admin later, they’ll be asked to accept when they sign in.

We keep things simple and don’t typically sign custom enterprise contracts — our public Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and Data Processing Agreement cover every customer.
